The Roxanne's Ghost duo is all about twins, identical twin sisters to be exact. Everyone knows how close twins are, right? They are apparently able to feel each other's emotions. So, if one of them has a strong emotional reaction to a man, the other should in theory feel the same emotional response. It makes sense, doesn't it?
But what does this mean in reality?
Say, they fall in love with the same man. How are they going to deal with it? Will one, for instance, marry the guy, knowing how her soul sister feels about him? And if she does, what does the other sister do? Might jealousy prompt her to confuse the guy into thinking she is the married sister, his wife?
This is an example of what you will find in the Roxanne's Ghost duology. Roxanne and Milicent differ from other sets of identical twins - they did not like each other. Competition between them was fierce while growing up. It stands to reason that they would pay this competitive spirit forward into adulthood.
In this duo you can expect romance, witches, a ghosts, deceit, time travel and so much more. It is essentially a complex ghost story with a hero resisting romance and a sweet little girl with autism.
