Cape Town South Africa

I am sooo excited!

Next week Tuesday, 2 Aungust, my husband and I are going for a 2 week holiday to beautiful Cape Town and the Winelands. My next 2 newsletters will come to you from there. I will be visiting all the places mentioned in my books, take many photos, and in general behave like a tourist.

Cape Town is in a winter rainfall area, so we’re hoping for pleasant weather – not that anything will put me off, except when we’re going up Table Mountain in the cable car. For that one day I ask, please, please, please, not too much wind!

But, does an author ever really take time off writing? Well, not this one. By the time I get back to Johannesburg, I want to have book 4 in the Bridesmaids, Weddings & Honeymoons series, Hands Off – or the backbone of it, anyway – out of my head and on my laptop.

So many stories to tell and so little time to do it in. But that is the plan, and it remains to be seen how far I will be able to stick to it in between the touristy stuff.

There is still time to sign up to my ARC Readers Club and read JJ 1A Vampire’s Pantry before anyone else, for free. This is going to happen in September, as soon as I get back from Cape Town.

Just click the link, read the book when I send it to you and tell everyone what you think on launch day.
