Karma, or Kismet, or Fate
I was just wondering how you felt about karma. Or fate, or kismet, or destiny. Any word that implies pre-destination in the sense that a person doesn’t steer his of her own ship. I mean, a coachman is relied on to get his young passenger to her destination, regardless of the weather or the time of the night. Whether or not he gets her there safely is out of her hands. She has to blindly trust him to get her where she needs to be. Her karma, or kismet, or fate, whatever you want to call it, is in her coachman’s hands. Read a bit here to see what I mean: https://storyoriginapp.com/giveaways/cbc37928-7b17-11ea-a1aa-5f4ade61dbf4 Finders Keepers An Almost Gothic…

Become an ARC reader for Paranormal Romance.
The only pre-requisite is that you have to be a fan of paranormal romance, mostly the spooky kind. I have only one vampire in my current WIP. If you are, please read on. What you need to do is simple – I will send you an advance reader copy for free. You read the book and leave an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, your blog, across social media or anywhere you like. Books live or die based on reviews. Reviews help an author make a living, and other readers who might otherwise not get to see the books, also benefit! You don’t have to read every new book, but as…

Is there such a thing as parallel universes?
Or maybe I should say alternative realities. Is it possible for your timeline to veer off at a different tangent with you in it? What could cause an alternative reality like this? A catastrophic event, a glitch in the weather, or something as simple as stumbling on the stairs? Something happens to Roxanne that might convince you that time might not be as linear as you believe. And then there are twins, monosygotic ones where the DNA is almost but not quite identical. If they are alike as that, are their likes and dislikes also nearly identical? It could be possible that they will fall in love with the same…

Finders Keepers
An Almost Gothic Love Affair – What is better that a creepy Gothic tale laced with romance? The classical Gothic novels we have all heard of – Dracula, The mysteries of Udolpho, Rebecca, Frankenstein, and many more – all have a few elements in common. They are mostly set in a remote castle in Eastern Europe, there is a secret, a curse, and a damsel in distress at the mercy of a dark, unethical lord of the manor, etc.. There often are vampires in the mix. I love Gothic Romance. So, I wanted to write one of my own, but I wanted to set it in South Africa, which already sets…

Trapped In Yesterday
A bewildering ghostly tale – A character I created last year, who is very close to my heart – they are all special and becomes personal pals of mine – is Trip Murgatroyd, a man of the night, or an escort, or a male prostitute, or whatever title you want to apply. It boils down to the fact that he sold his body to random women for money. A word of warning: this is not erotica, not even erotic romance. At best it is a steamy ghost story. What else, coming from me. I love ghosts, and they sort of find me before I’m even looking for them. LOL Well, Trip…

I’m so excited I can pop
I can't believe it is finally here! The full set of the Moragh's Ghost trilogy! When I started writing book 1, I didn't have a trilogy in mind. I was fascinated with the idea of two complete strangers getting married. It was titled An Absolute Bargain then. But by the time I finished the book, I knew the story wasn't done, not by a long shot, not until Nicole finished working through her demons. And the ghosts, oh my word! It took a few years, but it is finally done. I am so proud of the series and hope you will enjoy it as much as I did writing it. Happy…

Hi there, Paranormal Romance Readers!
To fully understand Nicole’s complexities, one has to know where she came from. Nicole Emily Jones was the only child of Magnus and Pearl Jones. She grew up on Willowgrove, the wine estate her father started from scratch long before she was even born. It was a rather isolated place for a single child, and she grew up surrounded by adults. Nicole’s parents tried to compensate by indulging her every whim. The result was that, by the time she reached adulthood, she was a proper spoilt brat. Nicole used to be engaged to Joshua Jordan, the neighbors’ boy she grew up with, until he came home one day with a bride…

I’ve Done It Again!
I’m Late Again! I don’t believe it, but I have gone and done it again! And it is all down to time management. You see, what happened was, the restaurant I worked for closed down due to the covid fallout. That means I ‘retired’ at the end of January. Not my choice, but there you have it. So far, it’s been great – I tell myself daily that I am on vacation. So, I dawdle and read a book instead of getting on with what I need to do. (I am currently reading book 2 in Autumn Archer’s Jungle Oasis trilogy. She is a wonderful author. Check out her work…
