I’ve Done It Again!
I’m Late Again! I don’t believe it, but I have gone and done it again! And it is all down to time management. You see, what happened was, the restaurant I worked for closed down due to the covid fallout. That means I ‘retired’ at the end of January. Not my choice, but there you have it. So far, it’s been great – I tell myself daily that I am on vacation. So, I dawdle and read a book instead of getting on with what I need to do. (I am currently reading book 2 in Autumn Archer’s Jungle Oasis trilogy. She is a wonderful author. Check out her work…

Moragh’s Ghost Trilogy
The finale in the Moragh’s Ghost Trilogy is nearly ready. The title is Becoming Poppet Nicole, and it will be launched in the next few months – definitely before June. I thought it would be a good idea to remind you of the first two books in the Moragh’s Ghost Trilogy ahead of Becoming Poppet Nicole becoming available. Nicole is a bad girl, a woman everyone loves to hate. She plays the field instead of concentrating on her fiance of four years and planning her wedding. He broadsides her when he, out of the blue with nothing leading up to it, brings home a bride that isn’t her. Nicole sees red. Then…

Finders Keepers
Exclusively part of the Soul’s Day Boxset Finders Keepers is a paranormal romance full of surprises. “You shall stay here until you bear me a child. Then you can stay or go, the choice shall be mine!” A bride is sent off into the unknown to marry a stranger on All Hollows Eve, October 31, 1749. What she finds on her arrival is enough to make her skin crawl. Limping footsteps, blood-curdling screams, smoking torches, and a house built on a cliff…a man she only sees in the dark, his breathing labored behind a mask. “A betrothal is as good as the wedding vows. You cannot leave.” “Am I your prisoner?” Read a sample here: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/230759695-finders-keepers See Other Books in the…

I love spooky paranormal romance!
Romance Let’s face it, love really is all around us. And it is love, not money, that makes the world go round. But maybe my phrase, spooky paranormal romance needs some elucidation. Let’s start with romance. Even when you read a murder mystery or a horror novel, there are romantic elements in it, because people fall in love all over the place and in any kind of a setting. People find each other in the most unexpected or dangerous situations. It is human nature. What fascinates me about romance is, firstly, what characteristics attract people to each other enough to fall in love and, secondly, what traits keep them in…

Time-Travel vs Time-Bending
When I started writing Roxanne’s Ghost I had no plan of messing with the chronology of time. What fascinated me was parallel stories within a story. But as my tale unfolded, time bent by itself. And it worked. It’s only now, with hindsight, that I question what time-travel and time-bending actually is. Science Fiction When either concept is mentioned, sci-fi movies immediately come to mind. In these, use is made of fantastic contraptions to travel through time, from a telephone booth in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure to a Delorean in Back to the Future. Reality The Reality In reality, no such equipment is needed, as time is relative. We all know the three dimensions of space: length,…
